"if you do not wish others to impose their feelings about morality on you; why do you think it is alright for you?"

Because my mind and judgments belong to me and are my property. People can impose their "feelings" about morality all they like. If I am part of a special group (as I am as a citizen of Canada), they may even impose certain rules and standards of conduct to which I must adhere. But my "feelings" and opinions about morality remain my own and there is much I disagree with in the greater culture.

So to sum up: People may feel and think and have their own opinions; but when people live in groups and in contact with one another--they must construct common standards and rules for conduct. Sometimes the rules and standards are so offensive or superstitious in nature that the individual will find a way to remove herself from the group. For instance, one may escape Iraq and seek asylum in a country with civilized values. Or one may leave a church group of one sect or another when one discovers that the dogma is both absurd and cruel.
