So I may deduce that by selling F-16 to the Kings the USA are a colony of Saudi Arabia? Nope. You might deduce that assuming a foreign policy position in order to increase the chances for the order is anything but idealistic...No one country can claim innocence from that formula - but it's certainly been proven to be a larger part of the calculation for Old Europe than advertised. The other big part of the calculation is advertising "it's them - not us" to AQ and friends. I loved Blair's comments about Germany today... So true. Mattussek's comments were despicable (though I'm sure Joshke and G were in agreement).
