The "flaming lifestyle" as you say is not taught anywhere in America that I am aware of. What is taught in public school sex education classes about homosexuals is that they exist and do have children. The classes simply teach reality. There ARE all kinds of families, including those headed by single parents, two parents, grandparents, foster parents, adoptive parents, distant relatives and lesbian and gay parents. Love DOES make a family, all families, not just the particular permutation that you consider normal. The percentage of families headed by a heterosexual married couples is quite a bit smaller than it was historically. Mainstream sex education simply reflects this reality. Imagine the poor, totally innocent child of two lesbians. Do you think public schools should teach that the child's parents are sinners and bad parents, so the other children will totally ostracize and probably bully that child? How is that fair? Do you think homosexuality is contagious or something? Do you think the children of Richard Gebhardt and Dick Cheney just CHOSE "a flaming lifestyle?"
