Your post was rather offensive. I did not respond because I did not know how to respond to a person whom I had respected who chose to post that way. It is still an anathema to me that you would curse in defense of the indefensible. The definition of traitorous encompasses giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Illegally meeting three times with the Vietnamese in Paris and returning to spread their programmed propaganda appears to most people to fit this description. You mention that he won medals, but fail to discuss that he got them through subterfuge. If you wish to praise John Forbes Kerry's awards while apologizing for his failures, it is your right. Please don't be surprised when the people not tied to the left do not share your enthusiasm.
