Alan, I think Lalit has a legitimate point about Adrian. His legitimacy has an impartial observer and poster would be seriously compromised if it were discovered that he was posting on this thread after being hired by a book writer to do research about this company and did not inform the posting community. As Lalit correctly pointed out, this is the very same behaviour that many have denounced on this thread as it related to one mikesloan. Afterall, Adrian du Plessis did come late to the thread, although he certainly had the right, but what were his motives.

As far as Mulroney and his stock options, well this is one of the most negative aspects of the investment world. Well-heeled and connected individuals getting directorships and receiving thousands of stock options which amount to free money for doing little or in many cases absolutely nothing. It's the old boys network at work and contributes very little to the proper management of these companies. Basically it's a get rich quick scheme that is in dire need of reform.
