Flickerful, I missed the part where Pluvia showed up. (but I was 'skimming' not 'reading' that area) Now, that is funny! Those longs (and the Solv Ex longs) are a stubborn lot when it comes to admitting they made a mistake with their money. That is why they are such perfect candidates for shell games and scams. IMO only, I believe it is engrained in the personality. There's a sucker born on a fairly regular basis, from what I understand. Crooks will be crooks, and the suckers will always be around. NASDAQ has a difficult job ahead if they want to tame the net. If you could poll the whole of SI, I don't think you'll find very many people who are 'scam-aware'. That's why the NASDAQ should sponsor an educational section here. I think that's also why marcos put up this thread. I wish them both well to that end. -MrB ps. No, I missed BARR.
