But the real question is, what was the rightwing doing officially investigating the POTUS's sex life in the guise of an investigation into a minor land deal that had happened ten years earlier? Actually, I don't think the Lewinsky affair or the investigation into his sex life had much, if anything, to do with Whitewater. It came about thru Paula Jones' suit. Now you may think that sexual harassment is a bunch of nonsense, and that powerful men accused of it should have the right to lie under oath when the charge is investigated, but many would disagree with you.
