I think those bonds would suck liquidity out of the system as this is money that would be used for other problems. Personally i think fica/ss and medicare (and medical care in general for that matter) have to be tackled as one problem. Bush did this country a service for bring this up now. The dems do themselves a disservice for not considering any alternatives including the one you posted. Dems should just change their name to the Reactionary party. Their hatred of bush has made them much like the old Reactionary republicans whose only idea back in the 50s was that they hated FDR and anything that had to do with his legacy. And they worked with the racists southern dems much like todays dems work with the crazy left. mike
