Hi Glenn,

Thanks for the Nikki Finke article. I love reading a woman burning her bridges. :)

I'm not quite as convinced as Ms. Finke is that Huffington Post is D.O.A. I'm willing to give it a chance to mature a bit. Or stew in its own juices, to use a metaphor for the sake of responding to the inance blog item Mike Nichols wrote.

I was quite disappointed with my first go-round with the Post yesterday. The content on the left-hand column seemed to be about as exciting and relevant as tapioca.

And the thing that was a complete and utter turnoff to me was the purported "exclusive" look at Gerald Posner's new book. First of all, I disdain that man. He's a shill for the official lie on the JFK assassination. He's probably CIA. And yet Arianna highlights a book from Posner that appears to be useful propaganda? My estimation of Arianna's discernment was severely challenged by that faux pas. The last time I got the same sense that Arianna had taken leave of her senses was when she gushed about her marination in the sympathy-fest that was the World Economic Forum in NYC in the winter of 2001-2. She was wallowing in it. And utterly failing to see the malevolent links between globaloney, militarism and the tragedy of 9/11.
