Gonna be one heck of a Lexar card sale, one of these days. I've got no problem with them, at the right price. :-)

Its possible but I very much doubt that. They may try and cleanup their low-density inventory as soon as possible because Samsung/Toshiba/Sandisk are trying to move the average card size much higher ahead of their massive capacity expansion and these low-density products are going to become obsolete. Lexar is in no position to compete. They will burn the much needed Cash to survive. Read this-

But, I agree that their products were definitely better than Sandisk's, at least in the past, as they were all made from SLC chips from Samsung whereas the regular cards from Sandisk were made from MLC chips. Now, Sandisk has improved their controller significantly and not sure how their regular low-end cards compare with Lexar's.
