Don't know how they compare, but in my practice high speed Lexar 4BG and 2GB CF cards perform as expected: without a single hitch. I've never owned a Sandisk card, so no idea there. Why not Sandisk? By the time the Sandisk cards I needed were available, I was already using the Lexars for months.
