Who's respect do you think Bush has?

He seems to have the respect of most of the leaders of Europe. Putin was trying to figure out when he could meet with President Bush during his Balkan trip. Putin was pleased to have President Bush at the goose-stepping leftist rally in red square. Georgia, Ukraine and most of the Balkans are delighted to have President Bush's support. Even Kofi Annan respects President Bush; he used Clinton as his personal lap dog. The leaders of Central America except Cuba crony Venezuela seem to want to negotiate with the current administration. Even Kim Jong Il respects the President. The list of who respects him is very long.

I said respect, not love. The 42nd President wanted to be loved (by foreign leaders, and in other sick ways). President Bush commands respect. Just because partisan whimperers in the US don't want to like him does not mean he is not respected.

"Paul Volker is saying as much as he can, which is not much. If you read him carefully you can see that Kofi Annan is corrupt and surrounds himself with corrupt people like Benon Sevan. They have stolen millions of dollars from the people of Iraq."

Isn't Volker a banker? If so, what does he have to do with the UN?

How can you love an institution without knowing it? Paul Volker preceded Alan Greenspan as head of the Federal Reserve. I am thinking Carter appointed Volker. Kofi Annan appointed Paul Volker to head up their internal investigation of the Oil for Saddam scandal.

"The UN wants to subsume the role of world government. In one way it is ready; the UN is already as corrupt as the most corrupt national governments."

And you know this because........?

The things that are being said by UN officials. It is also natural that a governmental body (or in the UN's case pseudo governmental body) wants to grow its control and power. The UN has done this whenever possible. I know this because I am alert, pay attention to the news about the UN and its scandals, and because I can smell the coffee.
