Personally, it has only been within the past few years that I have been able to enjoy starting a fire in the fireplace — in my centrally heated home — because it reminded me too much of when I was a kid down South and a fireplace was all we had to try to keep warm in the winter.

We sold our big house in the country and moved to the city last year. This last winter was the first in as long as I can remember that I didn't have to feed a woodstove. I didn't miss it at all. Love my gas parlor stove also.

Have to run and do some plowing between rainstorms here. Planting a new food plot out at my 80.
