In my youth, I once wintered at the end of Ashland Mine Rd (Abandoned gold mine). ... Lovely spot. As I recall, the land to the east was rattle snake country but I'd be willing to take a look see. If it is suitable and if you'll throw in one o_them_pointy_tents, I might be willing to sell out the rest of the country, my kith, and kin ... very tempting offer, mi-bones-be-tired.
