Not really..........from your article:

"But since last fall, low-wage job growth has just outstripped high-wage job growth. And in April, high-wage categories posted a 1.9 percent year-over-year gain, edging past the 1.8 percent growth in lower wage jobs."

The FT was looking at the cumulative effects of the recovery. Your article is mainly focused on what happened in April. However, your article does point out that overall, low wage job growth has been the big gainer which essentially underlines what the FT is saying.
