And here again, I post as an observer, from the REALISTIC greenie side I admit, but that doesn't cloud my observation. Because I say 'greenie" as defined as a way to preserve some sort of way of life on our planet, knowing that WE ALL have some degree of responsibility in it's saving and destruction..
But WE ALL have the responsibility for saving it. So who knows best.. The indigineous people and their ways or the so-called modern people and their ways.. The former who kept things going for a long time, even their populations, or the latter, the 'modern man' that can't keep either under control..
So what is it? I think it comes down to BELIEF or in some other PROVINCIAL WAY, RELIGION, where ONE group, a fleeting but POWERFUL group DECIDES they have domain over ALL.. Because THEY know ALL.. Sometimes, too many times through history, they KNOW what is the BEST for ALL living things, the animals, the forests, other people etc. But it won't last, as the spiritual universe always will eventually tilt to the positive. To a point where NO one is all knowing... But unfortunataly, the dark period lasts too long, long enough to cause a lot of grief to all living things. We will all have to endure through this darkness..
And continuing on.. ALL other living things.. ;( Even to the extent of destroying them, whether it is clear cutting forests or exterminating people, like in Vietnam or Iraq..
To put them in their OWN image of things
So all I ask of my detractors before they JUMP me, and I bet they will, because they have a helluva time NOT doing so..
Stopping to think before they jump..
Even if they stop a second, and
their children stop two seconds..
and their grandchildren..
Stop three seconds..
To think..
We are making progress.
