Nice try. Sun Ray ultra-thin clients process only keyboard input and screen output, leaving all of the application processing and storage to the server.

So CPU is time shared on the server between desktops. Power users wouldn't give up their 3.2ghz+ desktops for this. Network latency would kill performance not to mention an overloaded server.

I'd like to see a case study of a company that implemented Sun Rays for 1000+ users.
