Fortas was debated on the floor of the Senate for 4 days.

Some of the Bush nominees have been filibustered for more
than 1,000 days. There is no floor debate going on any any
Bush nominee - this is not part of any filibuster "tradition".
It is an obstructionist abuse of power.
***

A bipartisan majority debated Fortas ethical problems. This
same bipartisan majority insisted they were not filibustering
Fortas.

A partisan minority is obstructing Bush nominees with ZERO
floor debate.
***

Fortas had serious ethics problems from which he eventually
resigned from the bench over.

Bush nominees have no ethical problems.
***

Fortas withdrew his name when it became clear a bipartisan
majority would vote down his nomination.

Bush nominees would win a majority vote is the minority
democrats weren't obstructing an up or down vote.
