What is Bush's plan? You blame Clinton!??? Isn't that just typical. You cite a 1997 statement? The market was a different breed of animal back then. You stll haven't explained what Bush's "plan" is. What happened when the CA retirement fund took a hit from the stock market drop? Taxpayers covered the shortfall. Who's going to cover a shortfall for taxpayers at risk in a highly volatile market. Most folks don't care, aren't interested in, don't understand the market. SS is insurance. Playing the market for most folks is a crapshoot.
