Actually this is a question to all. A while back I wrote my opinion that CUBE would be heavily influenced by the number of DVD players sold, and hence would be affected by the number of studios that are going DVD. However, Andy, who, although contrarian to some, seems knowledgeble about the technology, stated that DVD players have nothing to do with CUBE. According to him, they use a different technology or they have already established contracts with other firms.
So if this is true, why do we contantly have discussions about the DVD titles coming on the market? If this has no impact on C Cube, it would not make sense to discuss DVD players, movies, or studios coming on line in this thread. Yet we do, and I have to think by people more knowledgeble than I. So what gives? What is the truth here. Do DVD players have an impact on Cube, or do they not. I'm confused.
