John and Tim,
Thank you both for the kind words.
I wish everyone, shareholders and lurkers alike, could get along again. There are times I really miss the comaraderie that used to be present among this group. Last year everyone tried to help each other, and it was okay to have different opinions/emotions about the stock. Intelligent conversation was possible, and much was gained from hearing different opinions and perspectives. Now many people have identified so closely with the stock that they percieve any question or opinion as a personal attack on their beliefs. I've seen people I hold in the highest esteem crucified on this thread, all because they had opinions that differed from the crowd mentality. It's really a shame, because we've lost something valuable... diversity. Right now it's just a waiting game... it could be so productive to use this time to discuss things such as when we could expect reserve status, the economics of the project, etc., but it's impossible because of the atmosphere here. The minute anyone ventures an opinion that doesn't agree with the crowd mentality, they are working for the shorts, a bad person, evil... It's ridiculous! And I'll never believe that this anomisity hasn't affected the share price. For every person that posts, there are many more who just read this thread, and they come away with an opinion of the company based on the character of this thread.
Well, I'm getting wordy... don't mean to sound preachy, just venting, I guess.
Best, Kim |
