Never noticed that, I have noticed that putting symbols in uppercase tends to work when it pukes on a symbol with mixed cases.

On a side note, make sure on your default charts that you have all lines removed. Check by opening a new chart and right click and edit lines. A text box will pop up where you can remove. Then resave the default.

I trade the futures and had very old contracts with lines, so I wonder if sometimes QCharts isn't trying to load that data. Also, if you had old lines on stock that is loaded in the chart if it wouldn't try and load data back to those lines times.
