From the technical front:

Small inverse head and shoulder formation forming. This type of formation project a short term up move. Very rough target to 17.50.

GAP target at 21.00 still there.

The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, May 13, edition that First Calgary Petroleums said talks about the future of the company are "progressing well" and that it intends to provide another update within two weeks. The Globe's Dave Ebner writes in the Business Ticker column that the upstart company has discovered natural gas in Algeria but has no production and is looking at options, which include an outright sale of the firm or a partnership. One media report suggested that a bid by India's state-owned oil company had been rejected. First Calgary said it is talking with "a number of parties." First Calgary stock slipped two cents to conclude Toronto Stock Exchange trading Thursday at $13.83.
