...that would indicate I'm performing worse than random... It's not hard to check. Tons of data and all sorts of tools available to help.... Moving average stuff is an especially clean case as it is easy to work backward from the definition of the 'indicator' to what the market has to look like in order for the indicator to have long term success. Needless to say, the resulting answer is almost exactly what a market cannot look like. :)
