And that is a much better point than what you were trumpeting. However, we all know that companies have been making more money, that has been the trend for a while. What is worrisome is that hasn't been trickling downward, so to speak. True, if you dig through the data deep enough, there are signs that it might be happening. But the data aren't conclusive. Or even all that encouraging. Now granted, this recession never got as deep as they traditionally do and that might actually be part of the problem. But with job growth being totally unable to get off the floor, it occasionally makes it to its knees but that is about it, there is room for concern. We are starting to see some inflation and the high price of gas isn't going to help that. If wages don't increase, then real estate is going to tank. And if that happens...
