...Failure to secure Mr Bolton's confirmation by the Republican-controlled Senate would be an embarrassing defeat for President George Bush. I've heard that rumour. But Bush wasn't embarassed when there were no WMD; no nuclear weapons program; no WMD related programs. And he certainly wasn't embarassed by nominating Bolton to begin with. I think it's pretty hard for Bush feel embarassed. jttmab
