I notice the thoughts of university profs get mentioned here at times. Today I remembered something from '79 when I owned a clothing store. ISU wanted some tuxes for a new band, sent me a letter offering to pay $70 for each of 100. Cheapest I could find were from Palm Beach @ $90 each wholesale. Nobody else even replied. I gave them a price of $100 each and they pay the alterations. Now the kicker, they needed to spend the money this spring to eat up the budget but the band would be formed the next fall AND THEY WANTED THEM ALL TO FIT. No idea of what sizes were needed and no one to measure.
