"One of the driving factors of our favorable net in migration is the strength of our economy."

Sure... and relatively open borders at various times in our history.

"I have predicted that a successful Iraq could start gaining immigrants from its restrictive neighbors too."

???

(I suppose that if you presuppose a 'Switzerland-like' economic success... and and open-door immigration policy that could be the result. Of course, if one assumes a lingering, divisive Sunni/Shiite civil war... then immigration might not exactly soar. Or, if Shiites [being more populous and with political power now] are victorious, then Iranian/Iraqi borders might be more open then the borders to Sunni lands... all supposition of course.)

"I believe that the economy of China will attract more interested migrants."

While there has been some inflow from Taiwan and other 'overseas Chinese' locales --- mostly of those with significant money --- I see no reason that they would be inclined to encourage other immigrants... their historical record for zenophobia being what it is.

America truly seems to be the best example of a 'melting pot'.
