When it became obvious that these suicide bombers were a trend, I was reminded of the Japanese kamakazis of WW II... Agreed. The first wave of American troops that hit the beaches of Normandy were on a suicide mission. Perhaps that's why some have trouble admitting that these people are acting out of belief. It's standard. When you have an enemy, you do everything you can to describe them in the worst possible way, with the worst motives, intellectually inferior, ... and not on God's side. [Since God is on your side.]. Dehumanize them, so they're easier to kill and interrogate. Suiciders [as Bush prefers to call them] are the ultimate precision weapon. Direct to target, retargetting when necessary detonation optimized in real-time. Far more advanced them some laser guided weapon. Personally, my preference would be to live to fight another day, but it's an effective weapon and has a nice loss to kill ratio. jttmab
