At least they're running properly designed trials to give doctors and patients some comprehensive data which they can use to make treatment decisions. Tough to accuse a company of prostituting their drug just because it wasn't as efficacious as one would have hoped, especially in cancer.

Would the cancer community have been better off if this trial, or other randomized trials like it, weren't completed?
