More than 400 people have been killed in militant attacks since Iraq's democratically elected government was announced at the end of April.

If increased and sustained, the murder rate in Iraq may finally be getting high enough that the civilian population in Iraq will object and take action in meaningful ways.

Wars end when folks tire of the killing.

My sense is the killing rate in Iraq needs to go higher.

At our current 20 per day average, 300 Americans were murdered in America in the same time period, yet the American civilian population does not object. Neither does MSM. We only read or hear about a very few of them. We know more about the 25 Iraqis being murdered daily than we do about the 20 Americans.
