"Sticking scissors into the crowning skull of a fully formed fetus and suctioning out it's brains."

I believe I advocated early abortion and the morning after pill and the avoidance of unwanted pregnancies. And I believe you are the one who continues to star in your own little drama.

I made it clear that I see the issue as the RIGHTS of humans to have control over what is in their bodies. Disposing of an unwanted egg occurs naturally and frequently--but it can also be induced in myriad ways. If the egg is unwanted then people should be encouraged and medically assisted to dispose of the egg at the earliest possible time before it "quickens".

And yes...I make a distinction between creatures who do and who do not have brain tissue and a nervous system. If potentiality was the critical point then we could justify killing everybody because everyone is potentially (and most certainly) returning to the soil. Obviously--what we WILL become as our potential is realized--is not a sound basis for ascribing value to life forms. Even fully developed humans are allowed to rest in peace and return to the earth when they have lost their mind on their journey upon the earth.

So it is not what we WILL become that is critical. We will ALL become soil and our flesh will become the flesh of maggots and such. Just as we eat cows--we in turn will be eaten by cows and other creatures. Your arrogance will not prevent the world from turning or deter life from eating life.

Still--I understand your bias toward your own species and group. This is natural--and, of course--I share in your bias. But my bias toward creatures with minds and nervous systems is somewhat stronger than yours. My bias in favor of human rights is light years ahead of yours.

You accord a mindless egg the right to use the body of a fully developed human against their will. You do not allow other humans that right (to do as they choose with the body of another)--yet you insist that a mindless egg has that RIGHT. If I used a woman's body against her will I would be charged with rape and put in prison where I would surely belong. Yet you think a mindless egg the size of a pencil dot can be a parasite inside a human being AGAINST HER WILL.

Why should something mindless be allowed to control the body of another when humans WITH minds are not? You don't say, because you really don't have any idea what your argument is. If I attempt to use a woman's body against her will--for sexual pleasure, for nourishment (cannibalism), or for any other reason--she would have the RIGHT to kill me. Yet you are too arrogant to admit that she has the RIGHT to dispose of an unwanted and mindless egg. Of course, you are not a woman. You just think you can control what they do with their bodies.

Good luck on your quest! Maybe we can lock recalcitrant women in a small room and bind them hand and foot until their egg develops a nervous system and a mind. Then, after we have forced delivery we can throw the child into the back lane to eat like a bird and to die like a beast?

OR...we can try to prevent unwanted pregnancies and try to terminate unwanted eggs while they are still mindless specks if that is the woman's wish.
