To all: It appears that everything that I have been reading lately concerning HIV treatments seems to have similar results with hepatitis, prostate cancer, breast cancer and other forms of cancer. United Biomedical Inc. Closes $9M Private Placement Dow Jones Newswires HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. -- United Biomedical Inc. received proceeds of $9 million from a private placement. In a press release, the privately held company said it will use the proceeds to speed clinical development of its HIV and prostate cancer immunotherapeutics, and to acquire products and technologies to augment the company's existing product portfolio. United Biomedical said Catalyst Venture Capital of Taipei, Taiwan was the placement agent. United Biomedical is an international biopharmaceutical company focused on development of immunotherapeutic, vaccine and diagnostic products that target diseases including hepatitis, AIDS, prostate cancer, breast cancer and allergy.
