Tim, Do you remember where you camped? There is a good chance I've been there. Spring time is one of my favorite times in Yosemite although I usually hike in the fall (less crowds, less water and fewer mosquitoes). Since I live in California, the Sierras are my favorite place to hike. And Yosemite is one of favorite places in the Sierras! Best Regards.
