If they didn't understand what would happen with the Muslims then they truly are morons. We've been watching them go nuts on live tv for as long as I can remember over little things, or at least little things to me. This news story is literally right out of the Al Qaeda handbook for inciting the Muslim world. We handed Al Qaeda an unearned whopper in their haste to damage Bush. I firmly believe because of bias this story was blasted out with very little thought about verifying. You have a single anonymous source that you can't verify and that is enough for headlines? I think not. In my anger I accused them of knowingly lying and that is not right. I have no way of knowing that and I have to presume that no matter how much they may not like Bush I would have to think they wouldn't lie. I do however think they rushed an unverified story to print that was the equivalent of screaming fire in a crowded theatre.
