why is the right going after PBS.

I cannot speak for the right. Those of us in the center are offended by biased reporting funded by taxpayers. If commercial companies wants to exist on liberal dollars, it is their right and in the long run their valuation will reflect their decision(s). Public funding of propaganda aimed at progressing one party's agenda is wrong. What if the government gave money to Fox News? (Well, ok, that is not a fair example, because they are balanced.) But what if the government funded a Republican leaning network? You would have kittens.

PBS Bests Networks in Election News

Would you be impressed if I told you I could high jump seven inches? How about seven feet? To say that PBS is less biased than people like Dan Rather and Hark Halperin is setting a very low standard.
