Liberal bias has little to do with this gaffe. Isakoff is an excellent journalist as i understand it. The info came from an impeccable source according to Newseek. Did Isakoff misread it, fail to read it competely or was the usually reliable source mistaken--its still unclear to me now that newsweek is in cya mode. A similar situation could have occurred from a right wing mag as well. IT is more about shoddy journalism than bias imo and unlike the CBS Rather affair which was all about bias.
