the FACT IS the price DID gap down regardless of the cause if you are trading the dividend, what you want is the price reaction, especially if you are looking back over the past few quarters to see what that reaction was charts such as stockcharts draws completely oblierates that price reaction - it may surprise you to know that not all stocks react the same way to dividend payouts... anyway, you are correct, stockcharts has made one too many decisions foe me and I will not be renewing my $300+ dollar subscription this year
