Of course it applies to corporations. Who do you think manufactures demand? They WORK at creating demand for products that never existed before- highly packaged, highly refined products. Consumers could resist the billions of dollars spent on advertising aimed at them- and some do, but don't go telling me corporations aren't a huge part of the dynamic. Again, you're just wrong, imo. I've know idea why you wish to exculpate corporations. It's odd.
