A new to me author was recommended a few days ago after the presentation I did....He is Andrew Carroll, and he finds an compiles letters from wars that Americans have fought. The book recommended is called "War Letters", with letters from the Revolutionary War through VietNam... I'm anxious to go get it to add to the list....I collect old letters too, and believe they really are a true gage of history.
