...the rumor is no rumor, its the truth. Its an unsubstantiated rumor. It is possible that it is true, but it isn't reasonable to call it "the truth" and it wasn't reasonable for Newsweek to publish the accusation based on unsupported and unnamed source. Detainee after detainee has reported the same thing over and over again. We now know that many of their other accusations of abuse at Gitmo have been verified. We also know this administration has a tendency to lie under pressure. So the likelihood is great that it is the truth. ted
