I have always been impressed with our FF and how farsighted their vision for this country was. However, I would have been insulted if someone compared me to them. They lived two hundred years ago. They were products of their time. I am sorry that you are more like them. It explains the gap between us. The fact that you see our founding fathers as out of touch does explain a lot. I would be honored to be compared to them. I do not presume to state that I am like our founding fathers, only more like them that you are. I understand that you would be honored. Does that mean you own slaves? Are you against the vote for women and people of color? Remember...........to be conservative is to be reactionary. Its why you feel very comfortable being compared to a FF. I am not......that's because I am a progressive.
