Infineon to deliver 1Gb NAND flash by the end of the year, but is it late?
Hans Wu, Taipei; Carrie Yu, DigiTimes.com [Tuesday 17 May 2005]

Sources at downstream DRAM makers have stated that Infineon Technologies has postponed the delivery date of its 1G NAND flash products from this quarter to at least the end of the year.

However, Infineon stated that the product has not been postponed and development is proceeding smoothly.

Infineon still expects to roll out samples of the 1Gb NAND flash product in June or July, with volume production commencing in the fourth quarter of this year, using 0.11-micron technology, the company said.
