Nobody is claiming war isn't horrible. All that has to happen is for the insurgents to stop attacking civilians marketplaces with suicide bombers and kidnapping innocent people. But instead the insurgents seem to be putting their own personal fundamentalist beliefs and greed ahead of everybody else.


I think that's a vast simplification of the problem. Furthermore, it seems too many Americans profess to understand what's happening in Iraq and to know what's best for Iraq better than most Iraqis. While this is all being sorted out, Americans are dying needlessly in a fight that is not ours. Its time to pack it in and bring them home.
