I can't understand how anyone would expect that flushing a Koran would induce someone to talk.
Well, we now know that did not happen, but the curious thing is that, when we read it, we thought it might have, and it passed unchallenged, more or less.
But then, I never would have imagined that real human females pretended to wipe menstrual blood on Muslims, either, and that appears to have actually happened.
Not to mention the leashes and the panties and so forth at Abu Ghraib.
If I didn't know for a fact this happened, with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it, period.
After that, my expectations have become rather jaded. |
