"If you wish to see your country taken over by corporate interests who could care less whether they make and sell their products here or not"

This is a dishonest generalazation. Not sure what your point it. It appears that you hate corporations. Weird.

"When a CEO can lose hundreds of millions of dollars, cheat the Treasury and walk away with millions of dollars in stock, stock options, and a multi-million dollar pension, then I must hate America and Americans because I will not sit still for it."

Gearge Bush and his appointees have been more aggresive on business cheats than any other administration by a huge margin. But lefties hate Bush, and love Clinton. The cheats thrived and grew under Clinton. Now they go to jail and have their lives ruined. Your prejudiced statement at the top of this posts indicates you think all ceo's in America are corrupt. Wonder what your opinion of Kofi Annan (and the U.N.) is. My bet is that you are ok with their corruption.

"If you believe our country can survive under those conditions,"

Capitilism offers the most for citizens. Corporations are capitilistic entities that provide zillions of jobs and offer competitive products to the world wide marketplace.

"I would not hate those who are innocent of the process."

But you will place blame with no evidence. Give one example of corporate crime under the Bush administration where there were no consequences.
