There was one unsubstantiated source that later came back with doubts about the story. It was irresponsible to publish the story without either collaboration, or the source being willing to go on record. Detainee after detainee has reported the same thing over and over again. We now know that many of their other accusations of abuse at Gitmo have been verified. Most of the claims made of abuse appear to be false, this despite the very real presence of the abuse. The claims serve their purpose whether or not they are true so they go beyond reality and should not be considered reliable. Tim
