Shanda To Cooperate With Stockstar, Taobao And Ctrip On IPTV pacificepoch.com Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) CEO Chen Tianqiao said at an EMBA media management course held by Fudan University in Suzhou on Saturday that Shanda is negotiating with Stockstar, Taobao and Ctrip (Nasdaq: CTRP) about IPTV services, National Business Daily reports. Chen said Shanda is discussing with Stockstar, an online stock and financial information website, about launching its services and allowing users to trade stocks through IPTV. Chen also said Shanda is talking to Alibaba's Jack Ma about electronic shopping on Taobao using IPTV and to Ctrip's James Liang about ticket booking services through IPTV. The report said Chen believes IPTV can be profitable from the start. Chen said Shanda will integrate its IPTV service through cooperation with Intel and Changhong on hardware, Alibaba, Taobao and Sina on content, and China Telecom and SARFT on infrastructure.
