fresc. ....."Lets face it, she is a great pick up for the Libs."...... Why? Why is she a great pic. What has she ever done for Canada? She inherited 10 billion or so from daddy does this qualify her as a good pic. Why is it always now money people who run the country, It's like they have everything except their own country to rule. Is she a good pick because she may be as corrupt as many liberal leaders are and fits right in and requires very little training? Canada is going down the tubes politically and still a good portion of the population would vote for the ruling party who we know are corrupt and involved in criminal activities. It was just amazing to watch martin gleefully welcoming belinda into the corrupt liberal fold.... On TV...in front of the entire nation laughing and joking...absolutely no shame. And it appears this type of thing has now become accepted politically in Canada and what's even more scary is that it appears to be accepted by the population of Canada. Harper may not have the experience of the liberal party but at least they may be able to bring back some honesty to Canadian politics. And they do represent an alternative to liberal corruption. Liberals need to be booted out as were the Conservatives after Mulroney and rid themselves of the martins and the belindas and start over. Darn, but then they would be considered as having not enough experience to run the country....what a bummer.
