Infineon talked a bit about their plans for NAND flash at the JPM conference (Sandisk/Lexar are later today). mapdigital.com - 10,000 wafers a month currently with their 512Mb part. They are currently using 170nm technology and have 110nm technology in the labs <gggg>. - They believe that their NROM technology which allows two bits per cell is a competitive advantage. They just need to overcome some technical challenges to become a real competitor in the market. Sandisk is going to get to their 8Gb chip before Infineon manages a 1Gb chip! Slacker
